Current Position:

As I start my second year as an ELAR/Social Studies teacher at Sudderth Elementary, I think about how blessed my life has been to meet so many wonderful people in Monahans.  I have truly enjoyed being at this campus and love my students dearly.  We have a great year ahead of us!

Previous Position:

I taught 5th Grade at the Arts Academy @ Bella Vista in Clovis, NM for 13 years before changing grade levels.  I taught 3rd Grade at the same school for 3 years before moving to MWPISD.   This is my second year in 6th grade and I absolutely LOVE this age group!

Family Information:

Eighteen years ago I met my best friend and have been happily married to him for fourteen years.  We have two amazing boys that are my world.  My oldest just started 7th grade at WJH and my baby is a 4th grader here at Sudderth.

Personal Information:

Making a difference in the lives of children is what I live for. The following quote hangs on my classroom door...”Kids don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.” and everyday I pray that my students understand how much I care about them.  I strive to be the teacher that kids can feel safe with and trust that I am doing everything in my power to support them and guide them in a way that will result in an amazing life.  I hope to be a positive influence in their lives, not only in the classroom, but when they step out into the future that I am preparing them for.
