Hello,
My name is Susie Molina Valdez and I’d like to share a little bit about myself. I have lived in Monahans all of my life. After graduating, I attended Odessa College and then moved on to UTPB where I received my bachelors in History and a minor in Special Populations.
I am married to Ramon Valdez, Jr. We have 3 kids, Steven, Stephanie and Abby. Stephanie is my middle child and was born with special needs which thus led me to teaching in the area of special education. I love it and truly believe that God has given me this calling. Even though it can be very challenging at times, these children are a great blessing to me. They are a joy to be around every day.
I have been teaching for 18 years. My first year was in Pecos, Texas and I have been in Monahans ever since. It is the best school district ever. I am very proud to be a Lobo.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking and watching the Cowboys play. Go Cowboys! I look forward to this new year and am excited to see what it brings.
