I am honored to be given the opportunity to lead Parkway East, and excited to become part of the school family! I am looking forward to meeting the staff, students and their families.This year marks the beginning of my 18th year in education. I taught 7th grade reading for fourteen years at Crane Middle School. I was the Counselor and Curriculum Coordinator at Grandfalls-Royalty ISD for the past three years. My Bachelor of Arts in English, teaching certifications, and Masters of Arts as a Reading Specialist degrees were obtained from UTPB. My school counseling certification and principal certifications were obtained from Angelo State University. I've been married for 33 years and we have two grown daughters. We enjoy traveling and camping in our Airstream, hiking, kayaking, and antique shopping whenever possible.
