This will be my 6th year in education. I started teaching at Sudderth Elementary in 2013. I taught reading and math my first year. This will be my fourth year with Sudderth Elementary and fourth year teaching Math.
I started teaching in 2009 for Kermit Independent School District. I taught a 4th grade self-contained class my first year. My second year I taught 4th grade writing and social studies. I then took two years off and went back to school and attained my Master's of Science in Psychology degree. During my time off my oldest son also started his kindergarten year in Wink, Texas. I volunteered for Wink Elementary as well as helped with the Box Tops for Education Program.
My family and I live in Kermit, Texas. I am married and have been with my husband for over 12 years. He is a drilling consultant and currently works for Arrington Oil and Gas. I have two sons. One is nine years old and is in the fourth grade at Sudderth Elementary. My youngest son started Kindergarten this year and is five years old. We like to hunt, fish, and ride motorcycles. My oldest son loves to play football. My youngest son wants to be a professional wrestler on WWE or Batman.
My favorite thing to do is spend time with my two boys. I love to watch them play sports and we love to do everything together. Right now, we are catching Pokemon and having tons of fun!
